SUMMER

DRAMA CAMPS

2025 CAMPS OPENS FOR REGISTRATION MAY 1 AT NOON

Our theatre summer camps offer young artists an incredible opportunity to explore the magic of performance, storytelling, and stagecraft. Over the course of the program, participants dive into acting, improv, scriptwriting, and set design—building confidence, teamwork, and creativity along the way. Each camp culminates in a live performance where students bring their original productions to life, showcasing their talents in front of an audience.

Whether stepping on stage for the first time or honing their theatrical skills, our camps provide a supportive, fun-filled environment where youth can express themselves, make new friends, and discover the joy of theatre. We’re always inspired by the passion and talent of our young performers and can’t wait to welcome new and returning campers each summer!

SUMMER

2024

In July and August 2024, Swamp Rat Experience hosted two incredible Summer Drama Camps in partnership with Fort McMurray Heritage Society, led by Devon Sereda Goldie and Zachery Elser. Over two weeks, 37 young artists, ages 6-17, explored the world of theatre, developing their creativity and performance skills.

Held at both the Heritage Village Barn and King Street Theatre, the camps provided a dynamic space for students to write, design, direct, and star in their own original productions. We are incredibly proud of the talent and dedication these young performers brought to the stage and can’t wait to welcome them back next summer!
